In the suspended city of Theatria, everything is supported by luminous threads that give life to people, objects and dreams.But something has broken: people have stopped feeling, and the threads - which used to convey emotion and energy - are now turning them into wood, motionless.Lira, a young puppeteer who begins to harden, discovers that the threads come from the Heart of Wood, an ancestral creature that keeps the world alive.When descending to the Root Forest, where the trees grow upside down and the threads beat like veins, Lira must decide whether to cut the cycle with the mythical Needle of Dawn or repair it with her own soul.
